Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Clinical Patient Educator responsible for providing education to patients on medical treatments and / or medical equipment. Thisindividual is responsible for facilitating learning that is of a performance-based nature.
Responsibilities :
- Plans patient educational program(s)
- Coordinates and facilitateseducational sessions
- Plans, prepares, and maintainsmaterials for use in patient education
- Provides initial and ongoing educationand consultation
- Tracks and measures patientsatisfaction
- Attends continuing education
- Assists in training and development ofnew educators as applicable
- Acts as a mentor to new educators asapplicable
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert asapplicable
- Observes safe work practices
- Participates in research sessions
- Performs other duties asassigned / necessary
