Job descriptionLocated 2 hours to Roanoke VA, hours to Charleston WV, 2 hours to Johnston City TN, and under 3 hours to Greensboro or Charlotte NC. Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of Southern West Virginia, this hidden "Jewel of the South" boasts four spectacular seasons rich in natural beauty, sweeping mountain views with an abundance of outdoor recreation. The area is rich in history, culture, and southern hospitality. Family friendly community surrounded by state and national parks, the area is the perfect setting for outdoor adventure including whitewater rafting, hunting, fishing, snow sports, mountain biking, horseback riding, cave exploring, zip lining, and golf.
Highlights :
- Seeking a full time Pediatric Hospitalist for a 200-bed WVU community-based hospital.
- 7 on 7 off schedule averaging 15 shifts per month. 24-hour shifts, 12 hours onsite, 12 hours call.
- Coverage includes inpatient pediatric unit, newborn nursery, special care Level II nursey (low acuity unit with ability to transfer patients as needed), attend C-Sections and high-risk deliveries, and occasional ED consults. Average daily census 5-10.
- Must be Board Certified (or eligible). New graduates welcome to apply.
- Financial package includes total compensation projections 245K+ with full HR benefits, paid malpractice including tail, annual CME allowance, signing bonus and relocation assistance.
