1. Understand and analyze large dataset use Excel tools to create tracking systems. 2. Prepare journal entries, reports, account analysis, investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries. 3. Update and maintain database systems for accounting, tracking & reporting to be used by various departments. 5. Perform complex financial analyses and statistical computations of tenant aging reports and other tenant datasets. 8. - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. - 2-3 years progressively responsible (professional level) experience in accounting / finance is desirable. - Communicate clearly and concisely, both oral and written. - Work cooperatively with other departments, City officials, and outside agencies. - Prepare and interpret statistical analysis. - Prepare complex financial statements, reports, and analyses. - Use logic and fact findings to apply accounting principles to resolve issues and propose corrective measures. - Strong accounting and analytical skills. - Analysis of complex issues including both qualitative and quantitative. - Ability to work under stringent deadlines. - Working knowledge of the Oracle Financial System. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook). - Municipal and / or governmental experience is preferred.
