We are seeking an experienced and strategic Mechanical Construction Project Executive to oversee and lead large-scale mechanical construction projects. This executive-level role requires expertise in mechanical systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and piping, along with strong leadership, financial management, and client relationship skills. The Project Executive will ensure the successful delivery of projects while driving profitability, maintaining quality standards, and fostering team development.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership :
Provide oversight and direction for multiple mechanical construction projects simultaneously.
Develop and execute strategies to ensure project profitability, safety, and quality.
Act as the senior point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Financial Oversight :
Establish project budgets and ensure strict adherence to financial goals.
Review and approve project estimates, bids, and contracts.
Monitor financial performance, including cost controls and revenue tracking.
Team Management :
Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and other team members.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development initiatives.
Project Execution :
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with client expectations.
Monitor project progress, addressing issues proactively and mitigating risks.
Oversee quality control processes to maintain industry standards and client satisfaction.
Client and Stakeholder Relations :
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and partners.
Negotiate contracts, resolve disputes, and ensure alignment with client goals.
Represent the company in high-level meetings and industry events.
Safety and Compliance :
Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Oversee safety programs and participate in audits and incident reviews.
Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, SMACNA) are a plus.
Experience :
10+ years of experience in mechanical construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of managing complex commercial and industrial projects successfully.
Skills :
Expertise in mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping installations.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management.
