Job description

Asana Consultant (Project Manager)

6mth initial contract, with potential ongoing Consultant style

Open to individuals with full time or part-time availability (min. 25hrs / wk required)

Experience / Required Background :

Expertise in Project Management principles and theory, preferably experience working as a PM

Expertise in Asana Administration (Asana workflow specialist Certification / Asana badgers / Ambassador credentials IDEAL)

Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate with a variety of teams - this is a stakeholder facing role.

Ability to understand the big picture while support specific, custom requests / needs

What the client is looking for you to achieve :

Within 30 days :

Become familiar with PM Playbook and all associated materials, including the change management plan

Make suggestions and recommendations to materials as necessary

Understand our current use of Asana and Jira

60-90 days :

Work with HM to onboard Asana and manage scopes

Support on initial pilot

Long term vision :

Champion all things related to use of the PM Playbook and use of Asana

Be a go-to resource for PM support for all staff

Help set up new projects

Support needs for new functionality or integration

Troubleshoot Asana administration issues

Staff training

Be the owner of PM tools and resources, keeping them relevant and useful

Care and maintenance of PM playbook and Asana tool

Adjust these tools and resources to meet the needs (now and in the future) for staff and various projects
