The Controller is responsible for managing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, overseeing compliance, and providing financial insights to leadership. They must be hands-on with day-to-day accounting tasks while also supervising a small team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage cost accounting, inventory valuation (average cost method), and COGS analysis.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Work closely with the executive team to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
