Job Description

The Red Gate Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) at Fort Belvoir, VA. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Finance Manager for DTRA's Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Directorate, an organization dedicated to preventing the spread of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and eliminating global chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats.

You will play a vital role in both strategic financial management and day-to-day operations, managing active budgets, developing long-term financial recommendations, and producing high-visibility reports, including the Annual Report to Congress. This position is ideal for a finance professional passionate about making a global impact while working in a mission-critical defense environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Financial Planning :

• Manage and strategically plan for three active fiscal years of funding.
• Develop Program Objective Memorandums (POMs) and annual Spend Plans to support long-term financial objectives.
• Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
