LAND PLANNER | PHOENIX

We’re looking for a mid to senior-level Land Planner and Entitlement specialist to join us in our Phoenix office. Norris Design is a worldwide strategic partner in planning, landscape architecture and branding. Our Baseline
- 10 – 20 years of experience with entitlements, land development and physical planning at a professional organization.
- Experience leading internal teams and consultant teams, preparing schedules, and managing the approval process for residential, commercial, retail and mixed-use projects.
- Have an understanding and general knowledge of zoning regulations and approval processes.
- Professional writing skills to effectively communicate project goals and objectives.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and ACAD.
- You’ll be enthusiastic, creative, and have the ability to think proactively and strategically.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture or another related field from an accredited program.
Full time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplementary Insurance and Dependent Care FSA and Healthcare FSA. A portion of the premiums are paid for by Norris Design. Norris Design also pays for Basic Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability as well as a 4% company match to our employer 401k plan. Staff receives 8 paid company holidays per year and an accrual based PTO program starting at 15 days per calendar year. Holiday week closure. Plus year-round half day Fridays!
