Position Description
The Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) is a grantadministering agency also mandated to provide research services for a variety of justice and preventionrelated efforts. Housed within the ACJC the Arizona Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) provides data analyses and research services to the agencys programs and to external stakeholders across the State. The SAC in partnership with Arizona State University is funded to administer the Arizona Youth Survey (AYS) biennially to 8th 10th and 12th grade students across Arizona. The AYS examines youth substance use gang involvement risky behaviors risk and protective factors and exposure to bullying and violence. The AYS is administered to approximately 50000 students during each administration year and the next administration will start in January 2026. The AYS administration team is planning to convene a 2026 AYS Working Group with diverse subject matter experts in prevention and education to discuss changes and improvements to the existing survey design and administration. As a result the AYS administration team is seeking an experienced professional to assist the 2026 AYS Working Group with neutral facilitation of survey discussion. The service provider will 1) meet with the AYS administration team to learn about the survey and establish agenda items for a total of three (3) meetings to be held in March and April 2025 2) lead and facilitate the discussions at the three meetings and 3) finalize a comprehensive report of recommendations made by the 2026 AYS Working Group

Must have the ability to plan organize and facilitate discussions with a diverse group of stakeholders. This position requires the ability to maintain neutrality during the discussion in order to facilitate engagement among stakeholders. Excellent verbal written and communication skills. Recommended Qualifications : 1) Lead and manage group sessions for a full twohour duration. 2) Facilitate discussions that encourage participation and ensure all voices are heard. 3) Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills. 4) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 5) Prior experience in group facilitation or a related field is preferred.
