Here are some Key Responsibilities Communication Faculty : + Collaborate with department faculty on program initiatives. + Contribute to program assessment and curriculum development. + Teach courses in public speaking, argumentation, and related topics. + Represent the department at college events and in community outreach efforts. Speech & Debate Coach : + Serve as a coach for the 8-Time National Championship CWI Speech & Debate Team. + Collaborate with fellow coaches to manage day-to-day team operations. + Coach students and prepare the team for competitions. + Coordinate travel planning and budgeting with department and school leadership. + Ensure compliance with team expenses in collaboration with the CWI business office. + Travel with the team to regional and national competitions, serving as coach and supervisor. What We're Looking For Required : + Master's degree in Communication or a related field from an accredited institution. + Experience teaching at the post-secondary level. + Ability to travel with the Speech and Debate Team Preferred : + Experience coaching an intercollegiate speech and debate team. + Demonstrated commitment to teaching at a community college or with adult learners. + Experience using instructional technology to deliver online courses. + Service to an institution of higher learning.
