Master Electronics is growing and so is our Cyber Security team. We are looking to add a Cyber Security Engineer to our team based in Phoenix, AZ.

This position is primarily office-based, with potential for hybrid work.

What you will do? :

• Design and Implement Security Solutions : Develop and deploy security systems and infrastructure, including firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS), and other cybersecurity measures
• Vulnerability Assessment : Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential security risks and recommend corrective actions
• Security Monitoring : Monitor network traffic for unusual activity, investigate incidents, and take immediate action to mitigate risks. Implement and manage SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools
• Incident Response : Develop and implement incident response plans, lead investigations during security breaches, and ensure effective resolution
• Security Compliance : Ensure that the organization adheres to relevant cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., CMMC 2.0, NIST, ISO 27001 and SOC 2). Conduct audits and provide compliance reports
• Collaboration and Training : Work with IT teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the organization's technology. Conduct security awareness training for staff to minimize human risk factors
• Documentation : Maintain up-to-date documentation of all security-related activities, including configurations, processes, and incident
• Security Policy Development : Develop, update, and enforce the organizations cybersecurity policies and procedures
