The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) is the public transit authority responsible for planning and constructing Skyline, Honolulu's rail transit system. It is the first fully automated, driverless urban light metro system in the United States and represents the largest public infrastructure project in the history of Hawaii.
Skyline's route is approximately 19 miles, with 19 stations, along Oahu's southern coast, and it is being constructed in three segments. The first segment, from East Kapolei to Aloha Stadium, is already in revenue service, with the next segments planned to extend service from Middle Street, through downtown Honolulu, to the Civic Center Station.
HART is seeking a Data Processing Systems Analyst I within the Project Controls team. Reporting to the Director of Project Controls, this role focuses on implementing a data analytics program, including developing advanced metrics, key performance indicators (KPI's), and dashboards.
We welcome candidates with expertise in data systems analysis or related fields. Proficiency with tools such as Oracle and project management software is a plus. The ideal candidate will translate organizational needs into technical solutions, advocate for end-user success, and enhance the availability of critical data and information. Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and address data visualization needs by collaborating with team members to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Establish and maintain processes and tools to track performance, ensure data accuracy and model outcomes effectively.
- Gather feedback on model performance from stakeholders and use insights to enhance reporting and analytics solutions.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze KPI's and reporting outcomes to uncover opportunities for operational improvements.
- Conduct impact analyses and ensure change readiness by tailoring communications to meet the needs of diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Understand challenges in business reporting processes to design effective solutions that address organizational needs.
Minimum Requirements
Principles and practices of public administration, organization, and management.
Gather, analyze, correlate and evaluate facts to make sound judgments.
Familiarity with construction processes or tools like Oracle Construction Intelligence Cloud Service.
