Database Business Analyst will design and develop reporting infrastructure in support of company goals collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating reports based on their findings and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine the success of business initiatives.

Reports to : IT Director

Work Hours : 8 : 30-5 : 00 PM Monday through Friday

Reporting To : IT Director Work Schedule : 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday

Main Responsibilities :

• Report Infrastructure : Develop and design reporting systems to align with company objectives.
• Data Extraction & Reporting : Collaborate with data experts to extract data, generate reports, and track KPIs.
• Data-Driven Insights : Deliver strategic, actionable analyses to support the decision-making processes of sales, marketing, finance, and management teams.
• Database Creation & Design : Design, build and manage Azure, SQL and Access databases.
• Documentation Management : Organize and maintain system and procedural documentation.
• Server Management : Experience with server installation and maintenance, including user management and database backups.
• Security / Compliance : Conduct regular data audits to ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.

Technical Expertise :

Azure Cloud environments

SQL Server Management Studio

Business Intelligence Software

Programming : VBA, PowerShell, Scripting Languages

Software Proficiency : Microsoft Office 365 Suite

Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication.  Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms.

Analytical Proficiency : Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and precision.

Training Expertise : Skilled in training end users to proficiently use reporting tools and systems, enhancing their data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Professional Growth : Demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous learning and skill development to improve system knowledge and efficiency.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : From $75,000.00 per year
