Smart Start Dental in Oakland, CA, is seeking bilingual, motivated and detail-oriented professionals for the following positions :

1 General Practice Registered Dental Assistant

2 General Practice Dental Assistant / Records and Sterile Technician

Q ualifications and Skills

For RDA : Active California Registered Dental Assistant License

For DA : Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a Dental Assistant program.

Previous experience in pediatric and / or general dentistry required

Upbeat personality a must

Enjoy working with children and providing a positive dental experience for them.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

X-Ray Certification required

CPR Certification required

Sealant Certification required for DA

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists during dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, crowns, and extractions.

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.

Take, develop, and mount dental x-rays.

Provide patient care and comfort before, during, and after dental treatments.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Follow all infection control and safety procedures.
