Schedule : 8am-5pm, Full-Time

The Harris County Public Health Services is partnering with Team1Medical to seek a Dental Assistant to join their team! The Dental Assistant will provide program support for a school-based oral health program and will be called in to cover a clinical dental assistant shift in different settings. What you will be doing :

• Performs all duties required to assist the dentist with patient care
• Provides instructions to the patient under the guidance of the dentist
• Takes prescribed dental radiographs and / or intraoral photographs
• Performs infection control and instrument sterilization
• Perform preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Assist with appointment scheduling
