Position : 3D Electrical Drafter

Work Hours : Flexible with few hours of overlap time in EST (as long as this person is able to meet deadlines)

Holidays : US and PH holidays

Pay Range : 800-1000 USD / month (depending on interview assessment and client's approval) Please take note that pay will be given in USD

Company / Client Overview :

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to a premier NYC electrical contractor. Founded in 1987 and then incorporated in 1990 under the present name, for over twenty five years of experience, has firmly established us in the electrical, fire alarm and telecommunications industry.

The company engages in all phases of electrical installation, from main electrical power entrance service and emergency generators installation to fire alarm systems, data, voice communications, to intercom systems. Our company meets the requirements for both commercial and residential projects. We are fully bonded and insured for both Workers Compensation and General Liability.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Electrical CAD Drafter / Operator for on going new construction commercial projects in all 5 boroughs

Attending coordination meetings, work with the PM, and drafting drawings for the team

Drafting based on Shop Drawings and as Built drawings

Reading and interpreting Electrical Blueprints and Electrical Codes

Participate in coordination meetings

Minimum Requirements :

At least 5 years if Electrical Design experience

Experience or knowledge with NYC codes is preferred but not required

Experience with AutoCAD & Revit is required

Must be familiar and knowledgeable with electrical code, electrical drafting, and new construction

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
