True Grit Plumbing is a leading provider of plumbing services, known for our high standards and skilled team. We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Plumber who is eager to learn the trade and grow with our company. This position is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals in the plumbing industry.
Job Description :
The Apprentice Plumber will assist Journeyman and Master Plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This role involves learning the trade through on-the-job training and formal instruction, with a goal of advancing to a fully licensed plumber.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures.
Support plumbers by handing them tools, materials, and other supplies as needed.
Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues.
Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized job site.
Attend training sessions and complete coursework as required.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions under supervision.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Adhere to local plumbing codes and regulations while working on projects.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to learn and pursue a plumbing career.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces.
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in plumbing (preferred, but not required).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Pass background check and drug test.
