Quality Test Technician

Make a Real Impact in the Medical Industry

Every day, healthcare professionals rely on medical diagnostic equipment to deliver accurate test results that help diagnose disease, guide treatment decisions, and save lives. As a Quality Test Technician, you play a critical role in that mission—serving as a final quality checkpoint to ensure medical testing equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for use by customers around the world.

This is a hands-on role for individuals who are passionate about quality, precision, and making a difference through meaningful work.

Why This Role Matters

Your work directly impacts patient care. The equipment you test and approve will be used in hospitals and laboratories globally, where consistent performance and reliability are essential. By ensuring each product meets stringent quality and regulatory standards before shipment, you help protect patient outcomes and build trust with customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Test, inspect, and verify medical testing equipment prior to shipment to ensure proper operation
  • Perform electrical testing, calibration, and inspections using meters, wiring tools, and electronic test instruments
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to meet quality and safety standards
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, drills, and other assembly tools to complete repairs and adjustments
  • Interpret schematics, diagrams, and written work instructions to support testing and troubleshooting
  • Accurately document all work using Good Documentation Practices (GDP), including updating Device History Records (DHR)
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established quality assurance and quality control procedures
  • Perform visual and functional inspections to confirm products meet performance specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to share feedback and improve processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in a regulated, climate-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Use basic computer applications such as Excel and Word to enter data, complete forms, and access instructions
  • Work on your feet for most of the shift, including standing, bending, reaching, and walking as required

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, technically skilled, and motivated by the importance of delivering high-quality products.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or technical degree (AA or equivalent)
  • 1–2 years of electrical testing and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to follow GDP-documented procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Working knowledge of GMP and Device History Records (DHR)
  • Proficiency using hand tools and electronic test equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, SOPs, and technical instructions
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Quality assurance, quality control, or inspection experience
  • Background in electro-mechanical assembly or engineering support
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset with attention to detail
  • Team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and adapt

Schedule & Shift Details

  • Monday – Thursday: 5:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Mandatory Overtime: Up to 10 hours on Fridays
  • Breaks:
    • Two paid 15-minute breaks
    • One unpaid 30-minute lunch

Enjoy consistent weekday hours and long weekends.

Why You’ll Want This Role

  • Work in a clean, climate-controlled, modern manufacturing facility
  • Be part of a team-focused environment that values quality and collaboration
  • Opportunity for conversion to direct employment and long-term career stability
  • Upon conversion to direct employment:
    • 4 weeks of paid time off, accrued weekly
    • 13 paid holidays
    • Eligibility for an incentive compensation program (ICP) with end-of-year bonus potential
  • Company events, recognition programs, and team celebrations that reinforce a strong sense of community

Work Environment

  • Regulated manufacturing environment with defined quality and safety standards
  • Approximately 80% standing, 10% walking, and 10% sitting
  • Frequent bending and reaching throughout the shift
  • Use of PPE such as smocks, safety glasses, ESD wristbands, and impact-resistant footwear
  • Hands-on work with medical testing equipment, hand tools, and electronic test instruments

Do Work That Truly Matters

If you’re passionate about quality, enjoy hands-on technical work, and want to play a role in delivering reliable medical technology to customers worldwide, this Quality Test Technician position offers purpose, stability, and impact.

Apply today and help ensure confidence in every test result.
