Salary : $60,000 / Annually

Role : Tooling Technician

Primary Skills : Engineering

Role Description : The Tooling Technician must have 2+ years of experience. The main duties / activities are to complete maintenance, change over and occasional repairs to injection molding tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other Duties as Assigned) :

• Performs injection mold preventative maintenance and insert changes in support of production with diligence and accuracy.
• Maintains accurate log of preventative maintenance and insert changes.
• Identifies tooling deficiencies during preventative maintenance and notify Tooling Lead.
• Participates in root-cause analysis of tooling breakage and / or damage to assess corrective actions.
• Ensures a clean, organized, and safe work environment always.
• Leads creation, organization, and maintenance of TPI’s, including work instructions, photo- documentation, historical logging, and revision control.
• Participates and leads tool room organization, including mold spare components, standard components (fasteners, pins, buy-outs).
• Identifies and elevates tools, equipment, and other infrastructure needs to the Tooling Lead.
• Provides support to production operations (Molding, Special Ops, Production) as needed or directed by supervisor.

Education and Skill Requirements :

Education : High school education or GED

Experience : Minimum 2+ years of experience

Relocation : This position will cover relocation expenses

Travel : No

Local Preferred : Yes

Note : Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
