Overview

In this role the Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the engineering department as well as managing the budget and scheduling of all jobs. The Engineering Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and will assign projects to engineers based upon workload. The Engineering Manager will work closely with the Vice President of Operations to ensure production deadlines and quality standards are met and interface with production to resolve any issues that arise.
Duties
- Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
- Oversee project scheduling to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion.
- Manage complex design activities while meeting program objectives within cost and schedule requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Develop, hire, and retain top talent.
- Work directly with our customer / vendors to build cost and schedule plans, provide documentation, and determine project objectives and milestones.
- Communicate technical and program status to our customer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
