Junior Accountant Location : Brookhaven, GA (Near I-85) Industry : Family Office A well-established Family Office headquartered near Brookhaven, GA, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join its accounting team. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable (A / P) and general accounting functions while working closely with senior accounting staff. Key Responsibilities : Manage full-cycle accounts payable , including invoice processing, approvals, and payments. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Assist with general ledger accounting , including journal entries and account reconciliations . Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures . Maintain accurate financial records and documentation .. Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Qualifications & Skills : 2+ years of accounting experience , preferably in a corporate or family office environment. Strong understanding of accounts payable and general accounting principles . Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus). Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills . Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
