We are offering a contract for a part time Accountant - Entry Level position in Newark, New Jersey. The successful candidate will join our team and will primarily be involved in the processing of customer applications, preserving meticulous customer records, and managing customer inquiries. This role also encompasses the monitoring of customer accounts and taking necessary action.

Responsibilities :

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise customer credit records
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and promptly
• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate action
• Conduct daily reconciliation tasks
• Perform a significant amount of manual data entry tasks
• Process payroll and aid with onboarding procedures
• Utilize Quadiant software for Accounts Payable functions
• Perform transactional accounting tasks, including journal entries, scanning checks, and electronic payments
• Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
• Utilize Sage 50, Tessitura, and iSolved software for various accounting tasks.
• Proficiency in Account Coding
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat
• Knowledge of Dynamics NAV
• Understanding of ERP Solutions
• Ability to perform Account Analysis
• Competency in executing Accounting Entries
• Familiarity with various Accounting Functions
• Skill in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
