The Creative Director will provide leadership and strategic direction for both the digital and physical creative needs of our church. This role will be pivotal in shaping the church’s creative identity and vision, ensuring that all content, whether online or in-person, effectively communicates the gospel and engages our community. The Creative Director will spearhead the creative process, develop imaginative concepts, and bring them to fruition in a way that connects with those who do not yet know Jesus, while empowering those who do, to be sent out into the world to share the Good News. The Creative Director ‘s r esponsibilities include :
Leadership : help to craft and cultivate strong leadership and direction for all creative needs across the church.
Champion the culture and brand of Crossroads Ministries, overseeing the look and feel of the church, both online and in-person to ensure that the church’s brand remains current and consistent. Lead and develop a creative team of volunteers to assist you in carrying out that vision. Lead ideation and brainstorming to generate new ideas, concepts and solutions to help solve problems within the community for greater impact. Regularly evaluate and update creative processes and content and the Crossroads brand to stay relevant with a changing demographic. Develop strategic relationships and networking with the creative arts community of Broadway / Sanford / Raleigh, and other church networks. Content : Ideate, plan and execute current, compelling and engaging content for the creative needs of the church. Implements the vision for the creative brand with input from lead pastor and leadership team.
Design and execute the creative and production elements for message series, online service environments, weekend services, and special events including graphics, videos, photography and other needs to support the Crossroads experience. Produce weekend services for online environments to serve Crossroads partners, while also engaging target demographics. Coordinate the look and feel of the environments of Crossroads including signage, lobby, auditorium, stage, kids spaces etc to champion a cohesive design. Manage projects effectively, meeting timelines, quality expectations and overall goals. Communications : Provide direction and execution for Crossroad’s digital presence, internal and external communication, marketing and public relations.
Lead the ongoing development, design and function of the Crossroads website and app. Create an engaging community and impactful content through social media platforms. Develop and execute marketing strategies to connect to an unchurched audience. Provide direction, guidance and support to other Crossroads team members and volunteers in producing digital, written, and print communication and content. What you bring :

Demonstrated video-editing skills. Familiar with design programs and Adobe / Final Cut video editing software, or other equivalent editing software. Graphic design preferred. Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in brand building and innovation for social media. Ability to develop short- and long-range strategies to reach creative goals, while identifying opportunities for future growth. Personal characteristics and qualifications
