Job Description :
Are you an experienced welder with a passion for precision and quality? Do you take pride in your workmanship and have a keen eye for detail? If so, we want you to join our team! We are currently seeking a Structural Steel Welder to play a crucial role in constructing the future of our built environment.
Responsibilities :
- Welding Expertise : Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, on structural steel components according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Blueprint Interpretation : Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of steel structures.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct visual inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Material Handling : Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move and position steel materials for welding.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance : Maintain and perform routine inspections of welding equipment, reporting any issues for timely repair or replacement.
- Collaboration : Work closely with team members, including fitters, fabricators, and supervisors, to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Documentation : Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked on each project.
