A local company is seeking a Buyer to join their Purchasing team. We are a growing company quickly solidifying ourselves at the top of our industry and are experiencing tremendous growth. Because of this, we have decided to bring on an exceptional Buyer with experience purchasing raw materials including virgin and recycled plastic resin. This role will be a front line, full- experience purchasing role – we need someone who can go out, find Suppliers, communicate our needs, negotiate prices, monitor markets, and ensure we have a ready supply of what we need to keep our success going. Responsibilities for Buyer :

• You’re responsible for purchasing the materials we need. That includes identifying, qualifying, communicating with, and negotiating with the suppliers of materials that we seek. You’ll have to maintain and build relationships with your counterparts there, and stay abreast of industry trends, market indices, and projected forecasts to ensure we’re getting the best prices possible. For the right candidate, your compensation and incentive plan can be tied into cost savings if you would like.
• You’ll work with internal stakeholders – that includes production, engineering, and warehousing to make sure we have what we need on hand, we’ll have what we need next week, and we’ll know where to get what we need in the future.
