Required Skills & Experience

Job Description
This position will work hand in hand with the lead engineer on electrical design development practices in all regions of work performed by this construction company in adherence to the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Army surveying, planning and RFP design standards. These individuals will be working on new building construction, updates and renovations. NOT maintenance, just design. Most work will be done on offices, housing and training areas. . SOME client facing work such as onsite meetings to discuss challenges with projects. Communicating design info through graphic hand sketching and computer modeling. Reading design information and ideas presented in writing or oral instruction. Applying design techniques, tools, theories to the production and submittal of plans, drawings, models, and construction details. Reviewing and adjusting and applying UFGS, UFC, NEC (national electrical code) standards to engineering designs. Working in commissioning of electrical systems. Analyzing and understanding government RFP's.
Ranging salary 80,000-95,000.
