Job description

As an AeroBarrier Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation of AeroBarrier, an innovative air sealing technology designed to improve energy efficiency and indoor air quality in residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct site inspections to assess the layout and conditions for Aerobarrier installation.
  • Set up equipment and prepare the building for air sealing.
  • Apply Aerobarrier sealant using specialized equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Monitor the sealing process to achieve optimal results, adjusting equipment settings as needed.
  • Work efficiently to complete installations within scheduled timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conduct post-installation inspections to ensure proper sealing and identify any areas needing touch-up.
  • Perform blower door tests to measure air leakage reduction and validate the effectiveness of the Aerobarrier system.
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by project managers, contractors, or homeowners regarding the installation.
  • Document installation details, including pre-and post-installation photographs, measurements, and test results.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and hours worked on each project.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and participate in safety training sessions.

Role Requirements :

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Installation experience is a plus
  • Comfortable using standard hand tools
  • Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
  • Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
  • Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Being Bilingual is a plus!
  • Schedule : Monday - Friday, Saturday

    Competitive Pay & Great Benefits

    Pay : $25 per hour starting (piece rate). Will train.

    Position requires a drug test and motor vehicle report to be completed, contingent upon employment.

    Physical demands : Includes lifting and carrying heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), bending, squatting, and climbing ladders. The role requires working in confined spaces, crawling, and reaching overhead. Manual dexterity is needed for using hand and power tools. As an insulation installer must also be able to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures while adhering to safety standards.
