Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Field Service Technician, local to the Charleston, WV area. The incumbent will work within defined parameters to resolve issues in the field, while handling installations, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical distribution equipment, including breaker repairs, tests and evaluation.

Requirements :
Responsible for the repair and refurbishment of LV and MV circuit breakers and OEM equipment, including the technical skills in testing of power distribution and delivery to include Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Breakers, Switchgear, Relays and Transformers.
Responsible for the hands-on execution of projects including startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design and repair of power delivery equipment in respective area, power delivery includes transformers, switchgear, OCBs, circuit breakers, busways, UPS, ATS, PLCs, relays, power management controls systems and other power related equipment & controls.
Hands on, provide installation, repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance to electrical distribution equipment, both onsite and remote.
Contribute to the continued success of the brand by exercising good judgement regarding cost controlling, expenditure, and safeguarding company equipment.
Perform administrative functions including technical reports, material orders, client quotations, job status reports, time sheets, expense reports, etc.
Develop and further expand technical knowledge and expertise, currently recognized industry standards for engineering ability.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
2 years experience in field engineering.
PLC experience, strongly preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50-70% until local shop is operational.
Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driving license.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work within the US.
