We are currently seeking a highly motivated Finance Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong finance background and excellent communication skills. The Finance Operations Analyst will serve as a finance liaison to Insight's operating departments, collaborating cross-functionally with finance teams such as Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable. This dynamic and high-profile role requires the successful candidate to leverage a diverse set of financial, process, operational, and communication skills, along with strong business acumen. The position entails responsibilities such as processing and making decisions regarding contract creation and setup within the EBP system, performing billing tasks, and providing financial operations, analysis, and planning support to the Service Delivery team.
What you’ll do at Insight
Manage expenses effectively and conduct various ad-hoc analyses and special projects as assigned.
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from internal partners.
Verify and audit documentation for accuracy and completeness, obtaining any missing information as needed.
Review incoming Statements of Work (SOWs) to determine proper revenue recognition, fee structures, and invoicing parameters.
Create contracts and price agreements for SOWs in the EBP system to ensure accurate time entry, third-party PO creation, and billing.
Review revenue and expenses recorded against contracts to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and distribute client invoices in alignment with SOWs, reviewing contractual pricing and invoicing terms for audit compliance and obtaining necessary approvals.
Assist Collections with accounts receivable matters and dispute cases.
Support Commissions with commission adjustment requests.
Collaborate with the Service Management team on customer billing requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and standard methodologies for an integrated solution.
Maintain and adhere to departmental standard operating procedures, including managing documentation for efficient service delivery.
Provide guidance on budgets and financial considerations for operational decisions.
Submit monthly reclasses, deferrals, and accruals based on Accounting GAAP guidelines.
Offer leadership, support, and advice to project management teams, staffing managers, and Insight sales teams on contract management.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing across all organizational levels, demonstrating trust-building, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

What you’ll need to join Insight
Associates degree in Financial Management or Accounting preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service, accounting, finance, billing, business analysis, or operations management support.
Ability to interpret and analyze labor-based contracts and translate deliverables into billing contracts.
Strong presentation skills for communicating with peers and managers.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work extended hours during peak billing cycles.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
The base salary range for this position is typically $57,000 to $62,000 with benefits. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
