About Us
At Ambercycle, we're changing humanity's relationship with materials. We believe textiles and consumer goods are valuable materials that should be completely regenerative the way basic materials are in nature. Our technology enables true circularity by unlocking the creation of decarbonized raw materials from end-of-life goods. cycora, our high-quality regenerated polyester, is our first product that offers the same strength and versatility as virgin polyester, at less than half the CO2 emissions associated with petroleum-based fibers. The Job
We are looking for a seasoned finance leader serving as a key partner to the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and executive leadership team. You will lead all the finance activities of the enterprise with a focus in capital management, investor relations, project finance, and strategic decision making for a novel technology. You will also serve as a thought partner to the CEO and CTO on growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage project controls related to our manufacturing plant, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation of project milestones, costs, and timelines.
- Oversee the management of financing and loans for facilities, ensuring the optimal financing structure.
- Lead all treasury activities, including managing liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and optimizing working capital.
- Lead the financing efforts for expansion projects, including raising capital for the construction of new facilities.
- Manage the corporate cash and capital deployment to assure that all financial obligations are met.
- Monitor and manage the risk metrics of the company, while also articulating these to the rest of the leadership team.
- Maintain and assure compliance with financing agreements entered by the company, report results, and assist the executive team in prioritizing key tasks.
- Play a leading role in initiating, advising, negotiating, valuing, and critiquing all financial arrangements the company might consider, such as equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, licensing agreements, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, as well as presiding over any subsequent due diligence processes.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting (short- and long-term) processes in order to achieve effective resource allocation and efficient and effective operations against multi-year outlooks based on alternative scenarios.
- Provide oversight of financial operations to include regular financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and the reporting of operational results as required to management, the Board of Directors, and investors.
