Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Fire Alarm Technician Helper to support our DYNAMIC skilled technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in starting a career in fire protection and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist fire alarm technicians with the installation and testing of fire alarm systems and equipment.
  • Help conduct routine inspections and maintenance of existing fire alarm systems.
  • Prepare job sites by gathering tools, materials, and equipment needed for installations and repairs.
  • Learn to troubleshoot and identify issues in fire alarm systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and team members.
  • Keep accurate records of tasks performed and materials used.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education in fire protection or electronics is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems and electrical principles is preferred but not required.
  • Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid drivers license, clean record, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
