Starting hourly flight pay of $28.88 / hour with top of base scale at $67.11 / hour : Seniority-based pay increases and additional compensation for language skills, lead positions, and international trips.
Outstanding training : You will begin with 6.5 weeks of training in Houston, TX, learning United safety and customer service standards. Following successful completion of this training, we will welcome you aboard as a full-time employee and assign you to one of our hubs. United provides a $140 / week per diem, along with accommodations, breakfast, and lunch during training.

Flexibility : United's flight attendants are available for global assignments 24 / 7, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours. Dependability and timeliness are critical to success in this role.
Team Player : Consistent track record of working independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications and Requirements include :
- 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
- High school graduate or GED; 2 or more years of college preferred.
- At least one year of customer service experience in the service industry.
- Must be able to speak in a clear, concise, and organized manner, loud enough to be heard in an emergency.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
- Ability to hear all types and ranges of sound.
- Must be able to read and speak German fluently.
- Effectively communicate in high-stress situations such as aircraft evacuation and medical emergencies.
- Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards.
- Ability to proficiently operate electronic devices for required tasks.
- Must possess a valid passport prior to application with 18 months validity remaining.
- Ability to travel to and from all countries United serves without any restrictions.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stretch, reach, lift heavy objects, and push and pull beverage carts.
- Expectation to serve and / or sell food and beverages in a diligent and professional manner.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule in support of United’s 24 / 7 operation.
