Zurich is currently looking for an experienced Instructional Design Consultant to support the Crop (RCIS) business unit of Zurich North America. Ideally, this position would be based out of our Anoka, MN office, but can be located virtually anywhere in the United States.
The ideal candidate will design and develop learning solutions covering crop insurance concepts, rules, processes, and procedures. This person will work in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop instructionally sound learning material to address specific needs within the organization, and will be responsible for the following phases of the learning solution cycle : analysis, design, development and evaluation.
The Instructional Design Consultant will :
- Consult with SMEs and research policy and procedure documents to design comprehensive and targeted learning solutions
- Make recommendations to ensure performance outcomes are attained
- Use a variety of instructional design techniques to design and develop learning solutions of medium to high complexity
- Develop material for a variety of delivery formats (instructor-led, self-paced, blended learning)
- Utilize strong sound instructional design practices and principles for various modalities and delivery methods
- Update and revise training materials on an ongoing basis
