Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor the premises for irregularities or suspicious activity, and report findings to appropriate personnel. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required. Collaborate with site staff and other Allied Universal personnel to support a secure environment at the government location. Follow all instructions related to access control, visitor management, and property protection protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance. Must be at least 21 years of age. Should be comfortable using a computer or tablet. A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred, subject to state and / or local laws and regulations. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
