The OIG Inspector assesses whether CIA offices and programs are effectively executing their mission and comply with Federal law, Executive Orders, and other internal regulations and policies.

- Full time
- Four-year college degree from an accredited university
- Previous CIA OIG experience is required for this vacancy
- U.S. citizens (dual U.S. citizens also eligible)
- At least 18 years of age
- Willing to move to the Washington, DC area
- Able to complete security and medical evaluations
The OIG Inspector will work primarily in a team environment within an office setting. OIG inspection work is performed under the direction, control, and authority of the Inspector General, and adheres to the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) Quality Standards for Inspection and Evaluation. Responsibilities include assessing whether Agency offices, components, and / or programs are effectively executing their intended mission and comply with Federal law, Executive Orders, Presidential Directives, and other applicable internal regulations and policies. The work entails scoping and conducting a wide range of inspections as team lead or as a part of a team, advising other inspectors and managers of identified problems, making recommendations for corrective actions, and contributing to Inspections Staff-wide activities such as the annual work plan.
