Job Summary :
This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the MUFG Americas Enterprise Policy Governance Group.
Major Responsibilities
Administering the Americas policy governance and document management program and managing enterprise-wide processes, such as exceptions management and policy approval, issuance, and retirement;
Coordinating the renewal schedule for policy documentation in the Americas;
Maintaining internal document trackers to monitor and report on the phases on the document management lifecycle;
Overseeing execution of policy change management and implementation activities;
Preparing policy governance newsletters and other communications;
Maintaining document repositories;
Overseeing the activities of the Policy Liaisons;
Collecting and analyzing metrics related to the development and administration of policy documentation and preparing reports summarizing the information collected; and
Reviewing policy documentation (e.g., policies, standards, and procedures) for internal consistency and clarity and performing basic proofing and copy-editing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required;
Minimum of 10-12 years’ experience in banking or other financial institution setting;
Professional line-editing and copy-editing experience preferred;
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities;
Team player and ability to work collaboratively;
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across multiple departments; and
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
The typical base pay range for this role is between $180k-$240k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and / or incentive compensation.
