Job descriptionFollows prescribed safety regulations Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction Follows work plans and pre-task cards Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project : Blade Dozer Loader Scraper Forklift / Telehandler Crane Bobcat / Skid-steer Boom Lifts / Aerial Lifts Roller Cooperate with others when in a team environment Accept direction from supervisors Follow work rules and procedures Punctual and consistent attendance Accept constructive feedback Strong teamwork orientation Positive attitude and professional customer service skills Detail orientation Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, clime and periodically lift up to 50 lbs Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel to operator equipment Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals, and load charts Knowledge of equipment and their uses Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication) Strong teamwork orientation Positive attitude and professional customer service skills Ability to work independently Equipment certifications as required Industry related experience preferred Must possess valid driver’s license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law

The base compensation range for this role is $36.71-$55.06. per hour.

As an Operator, your primary duties include operating heavy equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures.
