Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and two years of college level training with a major in accounting or a closely related field. Candidates must type at a speed of not less than 50 words per minute from clear, legible copy. A minimum of four (4) years experience performing employee benefits enrollment and California state and federal labor regulations regarding leaves and benefits issues is required. Knowledge of federal and state laws, codes, regulations and requirements pertaining to employee benefits/insurance plans preferably in a school district is highly desirable. Strong Microsoft office and excel skills are necessary. Experience may be substituted for college level training.
