Overview

If you are a motivated analog designer with skills and interest in designing analog IP blocks that will be used in most of the cellphones sold today, Skyworks’ IP team is looking for you!  As part of the company’s IP development team you will work on analog control blocks for all of Skyworks’ RF products and develop IP circuit block designs that are used across the company. You will be designing analog and mixed signal blocks such as DACs, regulators, and sensors in a variety of SOI and bulk CMOS processes.

The work involves developing, updating, and maintaining Skyworks’ IP libraries as well as guiding and helping the design community in their integration and performance verification via simulation. In this role you will collate the requirements from various design teams and work with our systems team to define the specifications for Skyworks’ IP blocks.  #LI DB1

Job Responsibilities

• Develop analog IP block designs to meet product design teams’ requirements with all the necessary collaterals including documentation and integration guides
• Update existing IP block designs to serve the needs of various design team
• Spend 50% of your time on direct product development of analog controllers for PA controller, switch and LNA die that are integrated into our RF front-end modules

Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
