Essential Job Duties :
The team is seeking an Instructional Technology Support person who will provide academic technology support to faculty, staff, and students; assist with college-level administration support of academic technology systems; create support documentation for enterprise and college-supported academic technologies; and assist with the implementation of new academic technology tools. This position will report to the Director and will collaborate with other teams, as well as marketing, computing resources, and others as necessary. The individual in this position will :
- Provide technical support for academic technology systems, which include learning management systems, secure assessment platforms, engagement platforms, video streaming platforms, and Google Workspace.
- Perform routine software updates for a loaner pool of laptops and tablets used during assessments.
- Assist with the preparation of academic technology systems for each academic term.
- Create job aids, infographics, videos, animations, and other content that supplements support efforts.
- Assist with the adoption and implementation of new academic technology innovations into the educational curriculum.
- Manage user access for academic technology systems.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with faculty and staff to improve efficiencies in the setup and support processes of academic technology systems.
