Join our Technology & Data Privacy team as a Senior Technology Compliance Specialist, where you'll play a key role in strengthening compliance and resilience in an evolving digital landscape. Reporting to the Manager of Technology & Data Privacy, you'll collaborate with teams across the organization to develop processes, manage projects, and provide strategic guidance on regulatory requirements. A core focus of this role is enhancing regulatory intelligence—helping the company stay ahead of changing compliance obligations by implementing tracking and monitoring tools that support informed, risk-based decisions. What You Will Do
Determine compliance standards and provide in-depth consultation and analyses for ONE Gas teams that are subject to technology-centric compliance requirements and programs.
Develop analysis and recommendations for technology compliance across the Enterprise for management consideration. Facilitate continuous improvement and issue and risk resolution of compliance requirements in response to internal and external drivers.
Facilitate cross-functional working sessions with stakeholders. Collaborate through open communication, identify and resolve potential issues, and meet target completion timelines. Escalate complex issues and proposed solutions to cross-functional leadership.
Develop program-level plans that describe initiatives, projects, activities, and tasks that meet the requirements of compliance drivers from internal and external sources. Contribute to the scope definition and level of effort estimation by the compliance owner.
Define specific requirements that program elements are designed to meet. Validate program element requirements and the scrutiny of other teams that may provide validation. Research and validate new and changing regulations, directives, statues, and laws and communicate requirements.
Consult on design requirements by compliance program element owners. Support the translation of requirements into design by providing expertise and interpretation of compliance measures and drivers.
Collaborate with compliance process owners to assure metrics and measured goals are accomplished and levels are maintained.
Present compliance findings to stakeholders, team members, and leadership.
Mentor and provide guidance to less experience team members when needed.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, project management, cyber security, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience :
Experience in audit, compliance, information technology, cyber security, issue and risk management, and governmental / military contracts.
Experience with identifying, researching, evaluating and prioritizing issues or specific situations and coordinating appropriate action / response.
Previous experience developing metrics, measures, and scorecards for management and executive leadership.
Previous experience writing reports and preparing documentation of activities and / or findings.
Previous experience reading and interpreting audit results, governmental regulations, policies and procedures, publications, manuals, contracts and correspondence.
Experience identifying, researching, evaluating and prioritizing issues or specific situations and coordinating appropriate action / response.
Previous experience developing and presenting information to individuals and groups.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Word, Power Point, and Visio.
Experience in oil and gas industry terminology.
Previous experience interacting, advising and communicating effectively.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Applicable driver's license
Project Management Professional Certification preferred
Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.
Communicate and exchange information verbally.
Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
