The Senior Associate, Insurance is a collaborative, cross-functional position, and serves as the primary liaison between the Insurance / Risk Management team and all enterprise-wide business units and partners regarding claim activity. This role will be primarily responsible for leading our claims management efforts and risk mitigation initiatives, providing strategic guidance and leadership to our internal teams, and actively managing relationships with our critical third-party representatives (adjusters, broker, legal counsel, etc.). The Sr. Associate will also support the insurance placements, renewals, and other insurance and risk management activities. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Insurance and Risk and will work closely with internal stakeholders, external insurance brokers and consultants, as well as, the global RWE AG Insurance team in Germany.
Role Responsibilities :
- Claims Management (Primary Responsibility)
Oversee and manage the full claims lifecycle for various types of corporate insurance claims, including property damage, business interruption, general liability, automobile liability, and other corporate risks to ensure equitable claims resolution and optimize insurance recoveries
Assist with insurance renewals and placements, including exposure data collection, underwriting meetings, and broker engagement
Job Requirements and Experiences :
Pay range : The annual base salary range for this position in Illinois is $74,000 - $111,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
