Job description

The Aerospace Corporation is the trusted partner to the nation’s space programs, solving the hardest problems and providing unmatched technical expertise. As the operator of a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC), we are broadly engaged across all aspects of space— delivering innovative solutions that span satellite, launch, ground, and cyber systems for defense, civil and commercial customers. When you join our team, you’ll be part of a special collection of problem solvers, thought leaders, and innovators. Join us and take your place in space.

Building on The Aerospace Corporation's reputation as a trusted, impartial advisor with integrity and dedication to mission success, the Civil Systems Group (CSG) combines deep technical expertise with market-leading innovation to help our customers solve complex systems engineering and integration challenges. CSG is organized by core customer-facing lines of business to manage and grow programs within NASA, NOAA, USGS, and the NNSA, while extending our capabilities to other civilian federal government agencies fully integrated within Aerospace rules, regulations, processes, values, and behaviors.

Within the CSG, the NASA Programs Division (NPD) supports our NASA customer in all aspects of human space flight. The primary function of this position is to provide SharePoint development and maintenance of a configuration management tool used across NASA. As the HESF Angular/SharePoint Developer (Solutions Developer Staff II) representing Aerospace on this NASA team, you’ll be instrumental in leveraging Angular development in combination with SharePoint technology to enhance collaboration, streamline workflows, and facilitate knowledge management for critical space exploration initiatives within NASA.

  • Configure and customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and forms to optimize functionality, usability, and performance in support of programmatic needs and operational workflows.
  • Implement user-friendly interfaces and intuitive navigation structures within SharePoint sites, ensuring ease of access to critical information and resources for team members involved in activities.
  • Implement security measures and access controls within SharePoint environments to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with NASA's cybersecurity policies, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Provide training, guidance, and technical support to end-users and project teams on SharePoint usage, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques, fostering adoption and maximizing productivity across the program.
