Job description

Position : Estimator

The Estimator / Project Coordinator will be responsible for estimating the costs and materials needed for landscaping projects, as well as coordinating and managing the construction process of these projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in the landscaping industry and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for landscaping projects
  • Source and negotiate costs for materials and labor
  • Create project timelines and schedules
  • Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and address any concerns
  • Review and approve project plans and designs
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Maintain project documentation and records

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience as an estimator and / or project coordinator in the landscaping industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of landscaping materials, techniques, and processes
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and designs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Nice to Have Skills :

  • Experience in commercial landscaping
  • Background in landscape architecture
  • Knowledge of residential landscaping
