Job Summary
Works on assigned legal projects that impact clients [business units] and legal department processes. Analyze and interpret data, recommend direction, coordinate, and assist in implementing process change, and educating others. Use of good judgment and discretion to ensure organizational goals and objectives are achieved.
Essential Functions
-
Assists with initial review and drafting/development of contracts, as requested by legal counsel.

Assists with organizational contract review and approval processes, documentation and data.

Ability to lead a complex project from start to finish, including creating an effective project plan, presenting recommendations, meeting deadlines, proactively investigating, and resolving problems, and collaboratively coordinating and in leading others around process change.

Documents processes, procedures, and outcomes to seek continuous improvement related to projects.

Conducts research applicable to project assignment, gathers and complies data, interpret and analyze data, including creating written recommendations and reports with research findings.

Ability to develop educational materials and communications, present educational programs and/or conduct training on subject matters, including effective presentation skills for small or large groups.

Ability to design, develop and maintain system programs and applications (internal or external systems). Able to work independently or collaboratively with a group of people and act as a change agent to advance initiatives.

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with others, and act as a liaison to stakeholders/business partners. Cultivates relationships across the organization.

Maintains a current level of knowledge in assigned areas of expertise specific to assigned projects.
Qualifications
Required
-
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent legal, compliance, managed care, health plan administration, contract management, supply chain/sourcing, process improvement or project management
-
2 years of relevant experience reviewing and/or drafting/developing contracts
-
Experience with IT or general supply chain contracts
Preferred
-
1 year of relevant experience in a law firm, healthcare, research, or vendor/manufacturing/supply chain setting
-
Experience working with healthcare, supply chain, or information systems/technology contracts
