Marine or Ocean Engineering degree preferred. Minimum Secret ClearanceDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSAbility to work independently and as part of a team under project deadlines.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include one or more of the following in support of NSWC Code 80 mission : Marine and Mechanical Engineering. The Contractor shall provide support and analysis in the areas of fluid systems design, main propulsion systems, auxiliary systems, HVAC systems, control and instrumentation, deck machinery, vibration analysis, and shafting and propulsion train analysis.Marine and Atmospheric Environment. The Contractor shall utilize physical oceanography and wave generation data and information to create, modify, and simulate marine and atmospheric conditions for virtual or scale model testing.Physical Oceanography and Wave Generation.
