We are passionate about inspiring our community to register as organ and tissue donors and provide support to the families of those who give the gift of life.
Job Summary : HonorBridge is recruiting for a Materials Control Technician. This is a great entry level opportunity with opportunity to make a big impact! The Materials Control Technician maintains an adequate inventory of preservation and tissue supplies and instruments. Cleans, prepares, and sterilizes preservation and tissue department instruments and equipment. Monitors and maintains laboratory equipment including freezers, refrigerators and sterilizer. Assists with facilities management as directed.
Shift Hours : This is a mid day shift position, Monday-Thursday, from 10 : 00am-8 : 30pm

Maintains appropriate inventory for preservation and tissue departments in a manner that promotes the successful recovery of organs and tissues for transplantation.
Sterilizes preservation and tissue instruments according to HonorBridge Policy.
Record Keeping
Maintains clean and organized supply areas to allow for efficiency when TDC / PC prepare for clinical cases
Maintains Chapel Hill office building and equipment
Assists with audits and inspections
Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives as appropriate
Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Materials Control / Facilities or other designee
