Who You Are

As a member of the Lockheed Martin, Global Supply Chain, Subcontract Management, Integrated Systems & Partnerships Team (IS&P), you will impact major complex procurements of different contract types and will have continued interaction with Lockheed Martin program management and Lockheed Martin, GSCM Leadership. You’ll need to operate autonomously and have the business acumen for interaction with the strategic supplier leadership chains.

In addition, You’ll be looked upon to help guide and mentor other members of the team with their continued learning and training.

What You Will Be Doing

As a subcontract manager, key responsibilities include :

Managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance for moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts, including :

• Modified Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) subcontracts
• Performance specification subcontracts
• Complex build-to-print subcontracts

Supporting commercial, Department of Defense (DOD), and international programs

Leading cross functional subcontract management teams; interfacing with supplier quality program / project engineering, price / cost, compliance & others as applicable.

Exercising procurement delegation authority to sign multi-year agreements and / or purchase orders within established limits

Other efforts and / or projects as assigned

Subcontract Development and Administration

Additional responsibilities include :

Developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services

Supporting development, production, and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types

Preparing bid packages and managing the bid process

Developing evaluation criteria and analyzing and evaluating proposals

Managing the end to end subcontracting process

Desired skills

Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) / with the understanding of Government Procurement processes and regulations

Experience supporting production, sustainment and sustainment development procurement (Including multiple subcontract types; FFP, CPFF, T&M etc.)

Demonstrated experience in providing high levels of customer service, support and satisfaction.

Business acumen and ability to make impactful, business based decisions

Proficiency in analyzing a problem and recommending solutions, leading to positive outcome

Experience working both independently and within a team environment

Demonstrated ability to perform with a high level of excellence while under pressure and in a fast-paced team environment

Experience working with change management

Experience working with and effectively communicating (verbal / written) across all levels of management
