Visual Media Specialist - 3D Animator / Modeler

UFP Packaging, the nation’s leader in industrial packaging solutions is seeking a Visual Media Specialist- 3D Animator / Modeler to join our dynamic marketing team in Grand Rapids, MI. This individual will be responsible for the creation of rendered animations, video productions and photography for use throughout the organization. Key attributes needed in this position are attention to detail, passion for 3d animation and rendering, and the ability to manage and execute a visual media project from start to finish.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

3d Rendering / Animation : This role requires a heavy focus on high quality still and motion product renders and animations to showcase detailed product features, benefits, and production interactions.

Photography and Video : Produce high quality video and photography content through the planning and execution of nationwide photoshoots.

Editing and Multimedia Creation : Utilize editing systems and software to edit video sequences effectively, incorporating stills, graphics, animation, sound effects, narration, and music to create compelling multimedia content.

Collaboration and Coordination : Work closely with team members to develop video treatments, scripts, and visual brand messaging strategies. Coordinate with external vendors for additional videography, sound, narration and animation services as needed.

Logistics and Planning : Plan and schedule shooting sessions, determine equipment needs, and coordinate logistics for video footage and photography. Ensure all production activities align with project timelines and objectives.

Brand Consistency : Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and messaging throughout all visual media projects, ensuring a cohesive brand identity across all platforms.

Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience producing 3d renders (Blender preferred, but not required)
• Bachelor’s degree in multimedia, video / photography, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in multimedia production
• 2-5 years of Experience with Adobe Premiere CC and Adobe After Effects CC
• Experience with Video Container Types / Audio and Video Codec Types
• Ability to travel nationwide up to 15% of the time, including overnight stays
• Experience with Windows as the primary operator and destination
• Experience with Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, Etc.
