Day to Day
In this role, you will bring your technical expertise on a wide variety of transportation, trails, safety, and multimodal projects. You’ll evaluate data and conduct site visits and assessments, including roadway corridors, trail corridors, and school sites, and then apply your knowledge of multimodal transportation and trail design standards to develop recommendations for our clients. You’ll participate in public outreach activities, including virtual and in-person workshops, site audits, pop-up events, charettes, and demonstration projects. You’ll use your writing, research, mapping, or graphics skills to develop reports and plans. And you’ll have an opportunity to use and develop project management skills while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals.
Qualifications
Required
This position requires a combination of skills, experience and education including, but not limited to
- 2+ years of transportation planning experience
- Broad knowledge of multimodal transportation planning practices and trail design standards
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lead, prepare, and contribute to the preparation of plans, reports, memos, and presentation materials.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to independently work on multiple projects and complete tasks at a high level of quality.
- Ability to participate in public outreach or conduct site visits.
- Desire to collaborate and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree

Compensation
The pay range for this job in Phoenix is $60,000-$80,000 annually. Placement within the range is based upon experience, skill-sets, and qualifications.
