Mental Health Counseling Intern
Position Overview : We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Mental Health Clinician
Intern to join our team. This internship is designed for graduate students pursuing licensure as a
Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
The intern will gain hands-on experience in clinical settings, working closely with licensed
clinicians to develop skills in assessment, treatment planning, and client care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs.
- Collaborate with licensed clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide direct support to clients through individual and group therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in accordance with
agency policies.
